Every Tuesday I will release Trendy Tuesday, where I pick my 5 favorite pieces, currently in the store. I will give details on the product, style tips, and why it made this weeks cut! I will mix pieces from different vendors, price points, & styles. This will give you an inside scoop on our new arrivals, some missed pieces and how to seamlessly incorporate Sloane & Ivy into your closet.
n.Philanthropy is one of the many brands that Sloane & Ivy carries. The popular brand has been seen on well-known celebrities like Lady Gaga, Kate Hudson, and Emmy Rossum along with many others. The basic, edgy, and chic looks that n.Philanthropy offers are to die for.
Growing up with a reformed hippie mother & a flat chest, bras became less & less desirable. At first buying a bra was an exciting rite of passage into the glories of womanhood. As the years went on bras became less enticing and more of an expensive bother. Luckily for me a "barely there A cup" bras are obsolete 90% of the time. I hadn't bought a new bra in 4 years! The one bra I have at this point is the longest standing relationship in my life.
Unfortunately, I have to credit a lot of my streetwear style, appreciation, and slight obsession to my ex. I’ve always loved British fashion, which to me has many similarities to the streetwear vibe. But transforming my Sunday Lounge wear into the fashion movement we are currently living in, I was apprehensive at first to say the least. I was 22 years old, dating a guy ( or manchild) who gave me my first look into streetwear.
